About My Job as a Copywriter
I want to do an article on Panama and the Government but it’ll probably see publication tomorrow; my office is drilling me with work. And speaking of work, I’d like to talk about what I do in the company I work for. I’ve done blog networks, mp3 download sites, dating sites, horoscopes, psychics (a total fiasco, by the way; you pay them 50 bucks just so that they put your date and time of birth in a patented program that they click on and it generates your fortune, which you believe blindly due to the power of suggestion, you jackass) and much, much more, but right now I’ll show you what I get asked to do on a regular basis… something very questionable which I had a problem with at first but then slowly eased in to it: one of the project supervisors sends me an e-mail saying he needs some text explaining a user how to use BitTorrent files (if you don’t know, you’ll find out in a minute) and he sent me an “example.” What he and everyone else means by “example” is me rewording the text just so that the site where the original text is located can’t sue our company for plagearism. Fucking weak, but it works for them… I try to reword so much that it’s unrecognizable and that helps me sleep at night but still, if any other jackass had been in my place he would’nt have put so much effort into it.

Introduction
BitTorrent is a popular protocol for downloading various files ranging from pictures and research documents, to fansubbed anime, and much, much more. This is a small tutorial written to guide users on the usage of this protocol.
The main thing you need to download a file is a client, a program that gets you the file from the information stored on the .torrent file. One of the most functional clients is Azureus. Which SFS uses and recomends.
Downloading Files
BiTorrent is great because it allows huge files to be downloaded without using one person’s bandwidth or a server’s bandwidth,it uses bandwidth from multiple sources, and all the load on the server is just that of the hosted .torrent files, which are rarely over 20 kilobytes. When you install your client of choice, it should automatically associate the .torrent name with the client, and if not, your browser will ask you what to open the file with and choose it. Quite simply, your download will start. On most trackers you can rate the file and leave comments, and most uploaders love when comments, requests, and ratings are left at the file’s page on the tracker. Keep in mind that if you are seeding and want to change a file, you’ll have to wait until after you are done seeding, or copy the file(s) and change those, then delete the originals after you are finished. Some people complain about files being slow, and can’t understand why.

DOWNLOADING FILES
Getting your file is very simple. Once you have downloaded your BT Client and installed it, the program should have associated itself with the .torrent file extension but if it hasn’t then just choose your client from the program list when you click on the file to open it. What the .torrent file does is find all throughout the Internet the different “seeders” that are carrying the information you requested and will begin to download it from all available sources, making it safe and fast to get what you want without a hassle. On most “trackers,” or protocols within the file that find the “seeders,” there are comment forms and user ratings that, just like in a regular websites, encourage them to continues releasing quality work. Keep in mind that the people who use BT are the same ones you provide information for it, so seed files whenever you can. Remember that whenever you’re seeding you cannot move the files from the folder assigned by you for BT downloads until after you’re done seeding.
I have to do stuff like thiss all the time. It doesn’t stop and a lot of the time it’s fun but there comes a point where I don’t see the creativity in any of this.
