Hi5? MySpace? Online Communities?

MySpace is pretty popular. I’ve manage to steer clear out of it, mainly because earlier this year I had to do an article on the online community and after diggin a little into the whole thing I realized there’s a lot of crazy shit happening there. 50-year old pervs wanting to score some emo-teen ass and members from very popular bands in flaming wars with rival groups. It’s all very “Beat It” to me. Also, I get the same vibe I get out of the theater I was talking about in a previous post… a bunch of people showing off their shit andacting out who they really aren’t. I used to think the same thing about the blogosphere though, and look at me now.

For the record, though… I think Hi5 is very entertaining. It’s my proof that Panama is nothing but a big village there are 3 degrees of separation between EVERYONE!
