I’m Getting Popular

I’ve been out in Chitré all weekend so I’ve been unplugged from everything that’s been going on in the city but this morning, checking my e-mails, the Church of Yau was very gracious in sending me this lovely comment via email. This is coming from the Blogs Panama blog (redundant but who cares) on the entry where my interview with them is at:

Ohhhh, snap! Damn that Anonymous user, pissing on the little man. I find it funny how much of him I see around the Internet, and 97% of the time it’s to bad mouth somebody or something. I wonder if the Anonymous user lives in a cave where he tells his minions to go online and talk bad about everything and everyone that’s better than them, whipping them with his lasso and saying:

“DAMN FREEDOM OF SPEECH! DAMN IT ALL TO HELL! I’M RIGHT AND THEY’RE ALL WRONG! BRING ME THE GOAT AND VIRGINS… I MUST SACRIFICE THEM TO CHTULHU NOW!!!”

You know what I’ve noticed? That these haters can’t read worth a damn. Last I’ve known is that I don’t have sex in hallways. Maybe it’s the translator I’ve installed for the site that’s distorting my words; in which case that’s rather funny and ironic. Also funny and ironic would be if they attempt to read this place in its original language and mess up the translation themselves. Houston, we have a problem. Anyway, I responded:

Some things about me will just never change. Anyway, what this tells me is that I’m pissing off enough people for me to say I’m getting popular; not bad for a guy who’s writing a blog in English about a country who’s native tongue is Spanish. Also, not only does this say that the haters can’t read worth a damn (seriously, read a book) but that they judge on the first thing they see… and since they take it in the wrong way, that doesn’t really amount to much of anything. Very interesting…
