Michael Jackson - “Thriller” Posted on August 27th
I woke up this morning and the first thing I see when I turn on the TV was not only MTV (already a weird ocurrence, for starters) but MTV was showing one of the music videos that defined my youth: Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Look, the guy might be whacko and into 8 year-old dick as of late but you can’t deny that the guy is busting at the seams with talent. If you’re too young or have been too disinterested to try Michael Jackson’s music I suggest that you get everything from the “BAD” album and make your way back in the discography (which gets increasingly better as you go further back, though I think “Thriller” is the best one) and don’t be shy about going all the way to his Jackson 5 days, because that shit’s the goods. This, “Billie Jean” and “Smooth Criminal” complete the trifecta of awesomeness that is Michael Jackson and where Pop music begins and ends.
