Rejoice, dear fellows! Though fashionably late, Butter, Flip and other fine collaborators have finally finished what is the greatest video creation we’ve done yet: the video tutorial for PortoDiao.com’s MATADOR!: An alternate reality game created to make its participants soldiers of fortune, all of them set loose in the concrete jungle to hunt and be hunted! I can’t wait for this thing to begin. Mum’s the word of course, as is with most of Porto Diao events, so you’ll know what the real play mechanics are very soon. I suggest that if you haven’t signed up already, you should do so now by accessing the official Matador! Rules page.

If you are unclear about the finer points of the tournament or the rules page makes you dizzy, I yak about it extensively right here. Facebook is a powerful tool, and because of it I’m going to tell you right now that you can add yourself to the official PortoDiao.com Facebook group as well as sign up to the Matador! Event page so that you’re up to date with all things Porto. What a brilliant site, indeed.

I’d like to thank Flip for shooting this thing albeit his beer-driven impulses, Butter for chopping and helming the tutorial with the over-the-top hyper-reality antics I requested for this piece of homebrew cinema and, of course, the NBK crew for being great sports about the whole thing; I look forward to raiding villages and ravaging the women with you guys again soon.
