A teacher ran in and turned on the tv. People started crying and freaking out over loved ones in NYC and the surrounding areas. Kids were sent home early, and I called my mom and I didn't need to even say anything. All she said was "I'm coming over to pick you up" and that was that. I think it affects me more now that I am a flight attendant than it did before. I was in school. A teacher ran in and turned on the tv.
