Waiting for the Sand Posted on May 27th
I’m waiting to get picked up to go to the beach. My sheer joy is so contained, you have no idea… I decided to post before leaving since I’ve been feeling rather shitty all afternoon and I wanted to get something off my chest for your collective laughter. I have TWO big-ass pimples, making me feel like I’m 15 again. That’s arguable though; I’m watching Looney Toons at the moment, and it’s great! It’s great every. Fucking. Time. I was with MissTease and her friend SexyJugs (these nicknames are gonna get me in trouble one day, I know it) and we were renting our movies one time. Since my track record for selecting movies is spotty (it’s been pointed out to me before, and I believe I’ve said this before, that I neglect my audience. The movies I genrally like are not what you would call “accessible”) I knew this would be futile, but they humoured me. Anyway, we had selected 3 movies and on our way out I noticed they had the Looney Toons collection, namely the Daffy Duck… I personally like Bugs Bunny better, but fuck me if Daffy doesn’t have the funnier cartoons… Duck Dodgers in the fucking 24 1/2 Century, bitches! I didn’t even think it twice; I took it and laughed my ass off afterwards. The funny thing is how these girls, younger than me by a couple of years, saw me with this “I can’t believe a grown man is renting a Looney Toons DVD” look on their faces, specially SexyJugs. I thought it was closeminded and funny of them both… kind of made me enjoy Duck Dodgers even more. They’re both great girls, but it’s pre-conceived notions like that that make me wish i was in Canada or something. Not even the States… they’re too fucking paranoid in the States for me to be able to breathe easily. Great place to visit, though!
I’ll probably won’t step in the house long enough to write a decent post, so I hope you guys have a great weekend. I’ll take pics, so hopefully I’ll have banners and maybe even *gasp!* a picture gallery!
